Power shift: Solar & wind will dominate by 2025!
Renewables will quickly become the largest source of electricity production by 2025! While solar and wind power accounted for only 9% of global electricity production in 2020, this is set to increase to 40% by 2030 and to 70% by 2050. In 2025, solar and wind power combined should overtake coal as the largest global source of electricity.
