About this fund
Robeco Biodiversity Equities is an actively managed fund that invests globally in stocks and it has as its sustainable investment objective to support the sustainable use of natural resources and ecosystem services, as well as technologies, products and services that help to reduce biodiversity threats or restore natural habitats. The foregoing is implemented by mainly investing in companies that advance the following United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs): Clean Water and Sanitation (SDG 6), Sustainable cities and Communities (SDG 11), Responsible consumption and production (SDG 12), Life below water (SDG 14) and Life on land (SDG 15). The strategy integrates sustainability criteria as part of the stock picking process and through a theme specific sustainability assessment related to biodiversity and through the application of Robeco's Biodiversity Traffic Light framework. In addition to pursuing the sustainable investment objective, the Sub-fund at the same time aims to provide long term capital growth.
